Research into family breakdown shows that more than one in three children never see their fathers again after their parents split up, and nearly one in ten is so traumatized by the separation that they have considered suicide. Children are often used as 'emotional footballs' and are left feeling 'used, isolated and alone,' with many turning to alcohol and drugs. A father's biggest fear during a divorce is what impact this will have on his children, and the possibility of actually losing custody, as well. Many people in our society don't see fathers' rights as important as mothers' rights. Although there is a movement towards 50/50 custody in some states, very often, mothers end up winning custody of their children. Children need both parents and fathers shouldn't be pushed out of their children's lives after a divorce. This is the story of Chris Marshall, a father who has been fighting for years for the right to have a reasonable custody arrangement. His legal nightmare has cost him tens of thousands of dollars, as well as a thirty day jail sentence. For more information, visit: www.DivoceSourceRadio.com

In America, a woman is beaten every 12 seconds. One out of four women will be assaulted by a domestic partner, and male children exposed to domestic violence have a 700% greater chance of beating their female partners later in life. Violence against women is wrong, and the only thing worse than this is to be Falsely Accused of violence against your wife or children when you've done nothing wrong, and this happens more than you might think. Dean Tong, Nationally known forensic trial consultant and expert witness, helps protect the falsely accused and helps us better understand why someone might falsely accuse another of a crime they didn't commit.
